The rules for using relevare, your rights, and ours.

short version: use relevare for legitimate work purposes, don't do anything harmful, and you own your data. the trial is free and needs no card. the paid plan is $9.99 a month, renews until you cancel, and is refundable in full within 14 days of your first payment. we provide the software as-is and aren't liable if something goes wrong.
relevare is a local software application that analyzes your workflow to find productivity bottlenecks and recommend solutions. it runs on your computer, stores data locally, and uses AI to identify patterns in how you work.
by downloading and using relevare, you agree to these terms. if you don't agree, don't use the software.
you must be at least 18 years old to use relevare. by using the software, you confirm that you are.
if you are using relevare on behalf of your employer or organization, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms on their behalf.
you may use relevare for lawful workplace productivity purposes. you may not:
relevare is built on top of an open-source capture engine. the open-source components are available under their respective licenses.
you own all data captured by relevare. we don't claim any rights to it. screenshots, recordings and the local database stay on your computer. we never upload them and we cannot read them.
to analyze your work, relevare sends short, privacy-filtered pieces of text to our AI provider through our servers. that text passes through in transit and we do not store it. what gets sent, and what never does, is listed in our privacy policy.
you can delete all captured data at any time. see our privacy policy for full details on what is captured and how to delete it.
relevare starts with a free trial of 3 days. we do not ask for a card to start it, and it does not turn into a paid plan on its own: nothing is charged unless you choose to upgrade. the trial clock starts when relevare shows you its first finding, and in any case no later than 4 days after your first analysis runs. one trial per computer.
when the trial ends, relevare keeps recording and the app keeps working, but AI analysis stops until you upgrade.
upgrading costs $9.99 per month, or $84 per year (which works out to $7 per month). AI analysis is included; there is no separate AI account to buy or connect. one plan covers one computer.
your plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the same price, until you cancel. we charge the card you gave us at checkout, on the day you subscribed and on the same day of each period after that.
you can cancel at any time from preferences in the app, which opens your billing settings. cancelling stops the next charge and keeps your plan running until the end of the period you already paid for. uninstalling relevare, or deleting your local data, does not cancel your plan: you have to cancel it in billing settings.
if relevare is not for you, email [email protected] within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. renewal payments after that first one are not refundable; cancel before a renewal instead. if you are charged twice for the same computer, we refund the duplicate whatever the date. a refund, or a payment dispute, ends the plan and access to AI analysis. none of this limits rights you have under the law where you live.
if a payment fails, we retry it for a short period and email you. if it still fails, the plan is cancelled and AI analysis stops. you can subscribe again at any time.
prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax we are required to collect. where tax applies, it is shown at checkout and added to your total.
the org tier includes the team dashboard, cross-team pattern recognition, and managed deployment support. pricing is per organization. contact us for a quote.
we may change pricing at any time. existing customers will receive 30 days notice, by email, before any price increase applies to them. if you do not want the new price, cancel before it takes effect.
relevare uses AI to analyze your work. there are some things you should understand about that:
analysis runs on relevare's own AI, through our servers, on both the trial and the paid plan. you do not need an AI account of your own. privacy-filtered pieces of text are sent to our AI provider for analysis; raw screenshots and your local database are not. our privacy policy names the provider and lists what is sent.
when you choose to build a fix, relevare hands the work to an AI app you already use, such as ChatGPT or claude. that happens on your computer, under your own account with that company, and their terms apply to it.
AI output can be wrong. findings, time estimates and recommendations are suggestions for you to judge, not advice you should follow without thinking. check anything that matters before you act on it.
if your organization deploys relevare across multiple employees:
organizations deploying relevare are responsible for ensuring their deployment complies with applicable employment and privacy laws in their jurisdiction.
relevare is provided "as is." we make no warranty, express or implied, that the software will work without interruption, be error-free, or meet your specific requirements. use it at your own risk.
to the maximum extent permitted by law, relevare and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the software, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption.
our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of relevare will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. if you are on a free trial and have paid us nothing, our liability is limited to $100.
you can stop using relevare at any time by uninstalling the app. deleting ~/.relevare/ removes all captured data. if you have a paid plan, uninstalling does not cancel it: cancel in billing settings first, from preferences in the app.
we may terminate or suspend access to relevare if you violate these terms. we'll try to give you reasonable notice except where we believe immediate action is necessary.
we may update these terms from time to time. when we do, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page and notify you through the app. continued use of relevare after updated terms are posted means you accept the changes.
these terms are governed by the laws of the state of florida, in the united states, without regard to its conflict of law rules. any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in florida, and you and relevare each agree to that venue.
